| The Garden of Gethsemane |
- This place was prepared in 1994 to be a garden decorated by flowers and beautiful
plants on the sacred mountain top- the mountain of faith to add to the place beauty, calmness
- At this spot in particular and on Thursday the 14th of March 1974, the Divine Calling came to one of the dedicated deacons – after a three week prayer time – through a sheet of paper from the Bible that fell before him following a strong sand storm saying; "One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision, 'Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, and do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack or harm you, because I have many people in this city'. "(Acts 18:9-10)
The deacon considered this calling a message from God and an invitation from Heaven to start an evangelism ministry in the area for the salvation of those under the bandage of Sin. Ministry started from that time and is continuing until now…
"The Lord added to their number daily those who were saved." (Acts 2:47)
- This place was called "The Garden Gethsemane", to remind us of the place in which Jesus Christ came to, before crucifying in the garden of Gethsemane on the Mount of Olive where He went there to pray and told his disciples, "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me. Going a little father, he fell with His face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me, yet not as I will, but us you will." Than he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. "Could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?" he asked Peter. "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. He prayed a second time… and a third time. Then he returned to the disciples and said to them, "are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour is near, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners" (Matt 26:38-45).
- This scene could be seen sculptured on one of the high rocks present in this garden representing Jesus Christ praying alone in Gethsemane and the disciples sleeping. Another scene shows Jesus Christ crucified on the cross declaring His Love that surpasses all knowledge.
- "He Himself bore our sins in His body on tree, so that we might to sins and live for righteousness" (1 Peter 2:24)
