| Saint Mark's Church |
- This church was named after the apostle St. Mark who brought the good news to the nation of Egypt.
- This church was built in March 1993.
- His Holiness Pope Shenouda III has honored the church by visiting and blessing it on 12 April 1994.
- At the entrance of Saint Samaan's auditorium and on the roof of the church from outside is displayed three pieces of fine art containing pieces of colored ceramics fixed on the roof to show three scenes:
First scene:
Jesus Christ crucified "Who sacrificed Himself for all," "In Him we have redemption through His blood" (Ephesians 1:7). The apostle Paul being proud to belong to him says, "May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world." (Galatians 6:14). "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."(1 Corinthians 1:18). "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Sun of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." (Galatians 2:20)
Second scene:
Jesus Christ the resurrected Lord, "He was delivered over to death for our sins, and was raised to life for our justification." (Romans 4:25)
Third scene:
Jesus Christ being taken to heaven and the world of God reminds us by this verse, "This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven." (Acts 1:11)
- "Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!" (Mark 11:9)
